So I guess what I’m getting around to saying is that you should drink lots of coffee out of our sloth coffee mug. Sloths hang upside down, so you don’t have to. But what if a sloth drank coffee? Would it dangle any more swiftly? Is coffee toxic to sloths? Google has no answer to this question. Sloths’ closest relatives are anteaters and armadillos, but google won’t tell us if coffee is toxic to them either, but it can be fatal to small cats and dogs. So, while coffee will not harm our funny sloth coffee mug, it is probably dangerous to feed to an actual sloth, no matter how lazy the little critter is.

This particular mug is 11 ounces, which is just one ounce shy of a 12-ounce “Tall” coffee from Starbucks, but we think it’s particularly fortuitous because 11 was the original lucky number. Eleven is a prime number. There are six species of sloth, and half of them have two toes, while half of them have three. Six sloths plus two toes plus three toes equals 11. Coincidence? I think not.
